Translators Needed

I'm looking for volunteers to help me translate parts of this site into foreign languages. A volunteer can do as little or as much as he or she wants. The languages I'm most looking for are Chinese, Japanese, German, and French, but I will welcome any and all translations. Please email me or post here if you're willing to help make this site more international!

Other languages I'd especially like to see: Portugese, Spanish, Swedish, Finish, Thai, Dutch, Polish, and Russian

Does anyone else encounter a page that says:

"you don't have permission to translate gb (permission is )"

after clicking on the target language for translations?
How do we get around this, and is there a page with more information about how to enter translations? I've tried to run the site in Simplified Chinese, but other than the buttons and general architecture of the site, nothing comes out in mandarin. If the answer is really obvious, forgive me, but I can't seem to find the way-

I got the similar problem.. while I was trying to translate Korean
"you don't have permission to translate ko (permission is )" in my case
