Re: Sending irregular board is annoying?
Effectively i discussed already the issue with your problems in the help section. http://www.goproblems.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1045 My proposal is to implement management of rectangular sizes via sgf tag SZ[a:b] (which is part of the sgf standard, i don't invent it) instead of SZ[n] to su...

Re: The edge of the board is always one line away
One solution is to shift the problem on the left side of the board.
You can also draw a white line from H13 to H19 and a black line from G12 to G19, so that visually, it's obvious there is no more to do there.
note : Yet another example where the rectangular resize could be useful...

Re: Endgames problems of KTX-CRH
It would be simpler to allow for resizing board using the normal sgf notation. SZ[6:2] in this case. Unfortunately, i tested it, goproblems doesn't support this standard, only squares SZ[n] not rectangles SZ[n:m] Is it difficult to fix this ? I think it would simplify things. I've seen many users co...

Endgames problems of KTX-CRH
I'm sorry, but i understand nothing about these problems. Example : http://www.goproblems.com/20586 But there are a bunch of them in the same style. - There are no instructions, what i'm supposed to do ? - Sometimes there are not even white stones. - What are the triangles supposed to be ? I'm fed u...

Re: rating
Your rating really depends a lot of the way you are using the site. For instance i try to do all problems that are presented to me(25% complete currently), my rating is stuck around 9-10k because of this, i win a lot of problems but also fails a lot of them and once you missed one, even if you win i...

Re: Java application blocked.
I had the same issue on winXP when i updated to java 8. For me adding the site to the exception list in the java security panel solved the issue, and i didn't change security level. I have entered the entry like below (you have to type the http stuff and all, else it is not working), then you have t...

Re: Standard for translation of second person to Spanish ?
You do not know who is using the website at the other end, so i would go for the second person form. In french at least (but from what pelario said, seems quite similar in spanish) it is formal but normal and well accepted when giving directions to an adult. It is not as highly formal as "o-&qu...
