i have a q - i haven't met, any problems, where the right, thing, to do, is pass - but i have met, a lot of situations, where, u don't make a move locally - u either, pass or make a move somewhere else...
i know, that basically, if u'r creating a prob, that may need a "pass", u can suggest, the user, to simply play at a certain location, but that, is a huge hint... in most cases, at least..
i know, that not many problems, would require that, but wouldn't it be a nice, touch?
