Language of email notifications

Sometimes, when I see a bug like behaviour in goproblems.com, I do not know whether I should post it in the Suggestions forum or the Help forum.

Anyway, here goes my bug report. I believe that I have set the language in the user settings to English. But sometimes I will receive email notifications in some foreign language which I do not understand. This bug appears to affect both new problem and comment notifications. Can you please look into this?

I've got the same problem but luckily it's only the standard text that's translated.
