Endgames problems of KTX-CRH

Post by zwim »

I'm sorry, but i understand nothing about these problems.

Example : http://www.goproblems.com/20586

But there are a bunch of them in the same style.

- There are no instructions, what i'm supposed to do ?
- Sometimes there are not even white stones.
- What are the triangles supposed to be ?

I'm fed up with these problems with zero effort from the author to make them intelligible.
And the solutions doesn't even explain what is good or wrong.
How are we supposed to understand at first sight, the personal notations and endgame system of the author.

In current state, i vote down all these problems !

Looks like he's trying to make an oddly shaped board, and then maximize endgame on that board. Kind of weird but I think I get it.

It would be simpler to allow for resizing board using the normal sgf notation.

SZ[6:2] in this case.

Unfortunately, i tested it, goproblems doesn't support this standard, only squares SZ[n] not rectangles SZ[n:m]
Is it difficult to fix this ? I think it would simplify things.

I've seen many users complaining about KTX-CRH problems, most of them are i don't get it ?!
