Problems with Java security

Post by novicenovice »

I have:
Java 7u45
Chrome 30.0.1
Windows 7 sp1

When I'm trying to solve problems in java-mode Java always says that your java application is unsigned, so untrusted, so do I really want to run it?
It would have been ok, if it will be only once, but it happens on each browser start, so it annoys.

Moreover, Java seems not to save settings of application. For example, on each new problem I should select large stone size, because I always start with small ones.

All it is deeply annoying, so if anyone could help I will appreciate it much.

Java mode is not going to be supported in the future for just these kinds of reasons...

I see...

But that is quite pity, because Java client is very pretty-looking =)

FWIW, you can put goproblems.com in the list of trusted sites in the Configure Java tool. Google the error message you receive from Java when starting the applet for a description of how-to :)
