I created my first problem, 17796. After people commented on it, I see that it is probably invalid without hope: I ask to make white live, but it seems that's impossible. If, after studying it, it turns out that this is indeed the case, I could turn it the other way around: make black kill white.
Assuming that makes sense (I will investigate) what should I do then? Delete the problem and create a new one? Or what else?
How to handle a defective problem
Re: How to handle a defective problem
You can replace it by the improved version, or put it in the sandbox for better times.
If you untick the 'problem is active on the site' box you cannot revive it, only moderators can do that. But we have a lot to do and so little time...

Re: How to handle a defective problem
I put it in my sandbox. But if I turn it the other way around (black to kill rather than white to kill) it will become an entirely different problem, so the comments there would now make little sense.
In that case, is it preferable to start with a new problem?

Ah, forgot about those. Yes, better to make a new one. Untick the 'Problem is active on this site' if you feel there is no way to mend the problem.
