I can't read the comments on my MacBook

I've asked about this in the past with no resolution.
I've been without the comments for a long-time but I still remember how much I learned from them.
I can't read the comments on my MacBook...Mac OS X version 10.4.11.
Not using Safari 3.0.4, FireFox 3.0.4 or Internet Explorer 5.2.3.
Java 1.4.2 plugin settings version 11.8.0
With all the great improvements to the site, surely I should be able to read the comments someday.
I have expanded the comment window and tried every combination of clicking I can think of.
Are there others who have the same configuration as I do who can read the comments?
Perhaps it is a settings issue.
If anyone can help it would make me very happy.
