Hello,

I have the same problem, running ie 6 on XP...
Java 1.4.2_07

When on a page with a problem, i get:
load: class com.adum.go.GoApplet not found

and instead of the nice goban, i have a grey pannel.
But i can successfully run applets on other websites like missionred.com

Can anyone help ?

Thanks in advance,

Jahz

I have the same applet problem- no board. It's the same with Explorer 6 on my work PC and 7 on my home PC, both running XP. Any bright ideas out there?

Ok i've found the problem for myself..

In fact i was using JRE 1.3.1
IE was not very explicit with its class not found, but i installed firefox and saw in the java console an exception with something like unsupportedversionexcetion...

just downloaded latest jre, and now it works fine

I'm having the same problem ("class com.adum.go.GoApplet not found"). Doesn't work in IE 5, 6, or Firefox 2.X. I believe I have the same Java set up too. Anybody have any advice?

I see that someone fixed this by updating the JRE. What version is working? Where can I find it (for XP)?

Thanks for any help, (I can't live another minute without GoProblems!)

Answered my own questions.

Latest JRE is version 6. You can get it free here:

Worked like a charm. What a relief!
