The rating of a problem should be reset, after it has been edited. Some problems were posted initially with minor errors and collected a poor rating (like problem #7019). I think, they deserve a second chance, after proper corrections were made.

Hi,
I dont think automatic reset is a good idea. Many times I just add some wrong variations or comments to my problems when I have time to make them better and I would not want to reset their coolness each time after that. ( my Do you know problem has been changed 23 times and my Superdog 24 times :-) )
If you have remade some problem completely and want to reset its coolness you can just deactivate it and upload it on the site as a new one.

Well, I thought about resetting by the author of the problem (at his/her discretion). It would make sense along with blocking the author from voting for his own problem.
