Uhm, yes, this partly solves my problem, although wouldn't it be more user friendly to put a box in "Problems" page and let the non-php-aware user generate problem #1617 without resorting to such a measure?

if you do a text search in the problems page for 1617 it will return that problem. i didn't originally intend this, but everyone did it so i added it. maybe i should mention that...
