just like the search pattern wildley rotates & switches colors, wouldn't it great if it happened each time the problem's seen? (left-right,up-down,black-white randomly)

but cause of the co-ordinates in the comments.. 2 solutions:
1. either it only happens in the time trial (bah ;()
2. after a problem is solved (and when the author or somebody who came using a link sent to his/her email as a reualt of a comment) it turns into the colors and original positionningin the .sgf.. (in other words, 2 modes - viewing and analysis)

even in time trial, people can still look at comments. also, switching around right after you solve a problem and when you're about to make a comment can be quite tricky!

ideally, all comments would have board graphics instead of user coordinates, so the translation would be universal. but this is a long way off...

board rotation

If the axis of the board changes...i.e. the coordinates rotate as well I think that would work but look a bit weird. Also a button marked "rotate board" would make an interesting addition. As well as a button that returns the board to its original rotation, something like "undo rotation".

Time to revisit this suggestion?

Actually for corner problems there would be 16 possible orientation-color possibilities for the same problem.

There is also the issue of directional comments not making sense anymore (...When White has a strong position on the left... or such) if you flip color or mirror or rotate the position.

But maybe all is OK if we rotate or mirror the whole image, text and font included?
That would have the benefit of having an impromptu workout now and then, trying to read the text while tilting your body in whatever position is needed :D
