adum, if you'll add the displaying a problem of the day on the front page as an image, the same mechanism could be used to display problems for non-java-supporting browsers.
of course when suggesting the first it didn't come to mind that not all problems could be displayed as an image. problems which ask to follow a path before beginning the actual problem for ex.
if it's the only type (i can't come up with any other atm) then a new tag could be create to let the applet know where the actual problem [start]s, otherwise a flag could be added so that it'd be possible to list only compitable problems.
of course it's bringing the time-trial-compitable flag idea to mind... ^^*
